Updates on Miller, Cunningham suspensions

Senior Darrian Miller, a two-year starter at left tackle, has been suspended for a game for a violation of team rules, Mark Stoops announced on Monday.

Miller, a former standout at Bryan Station, has played in every game since he arrived on campus.

Event happened some time ago, the coach said, but Miller be back in good standing by the Ohio game.

Jordan Swindle will be moved back into Miller’s spot and Kyle Meadows will take over Swindle’s spot on the other side.

  • Kentucky wide receiver Rashad Cunningham also will sit the season opener for a violation of team rules, Stoops added. Cunningham missed all of last season with academic issues. He had eight catches for 80 yards and a touchdown in the Blue-White Spring Game.
