Former Kentucky linebacker Qua Huzzie didn’t take long to find a new place to land. The 5-foot-10 sophomore from LaGrange, Ga., showed up on Murray State’s most recent roster (thanks Racers play-by-play guru Neal Bradley).
Coach Joker Phillips said Wednesday that Huzzie’s departure was a surprise. “I don’t know how long he’s been thinking about it, but it was a surprise.”
Huzzie was hampered by injuries during much of his time at UK. He played in eight games, getting 17 tackles, including one for a loss, last season. He had a season-best four tackles versus Charleston Southern.
